  • Membership, Rights and Obligations (For Item 7.1)

    - Any scholar, architect (practicing or of various agencies or constitutions), or professional in urban planning, architecture, landscape, and interior design, who identifies with the purposes of the Institute, is willing to comply with these statutes, and submits the application form with two members’ recommendation/referral shall become a member after being approved by the Council and paying the membership fee.

    - Members have the right to participate in the General Assembly of members, to vote and stand for election, to participate in all activities organized by the Institute and to enjoy all the benefits and rights in the Institute; are entitled to make comments and suggestions on the Institute’s conduct of business. Members have the freedom to withdraw, but they should submit a written application to the Council.

    The Members are obligated to abide by the statutes, to implement the resolutions of the General Assembly and the Council, to participate, support and assist the academic research, training, exhibition and other activities held or organized by the Institute, to promote the development of the Institute’s conduct of business and the collaboration among members, to pay their dues and other required fees. The behaviors of members shall not inflict any damage to the reputation of the Institute.

  • The organization structure of APCIA

    - The Institute is consisted of: General Assembly of members, the Council, Board of Supervisors.

    Through the nomination of the Council, the Institute can engage eminent persons or scholars as honorary president or academic advisers to participate in the Institute. The Council can nominate and appoint the members in non-leadership positions of the agencies when needed. Details are specified in the internal rules.
