    APCIA is a registered non-profit academic organization.

    The fundamental principles of Asia-Pacific Cities Institute of Architecture were established based on two pillars; Proficiency, and Dedication.

    Shared by the members of the institute, these principles represent our members’ strive for the highest professional standards through on-going researches, training and exchanges..

    Members are subject to strict codes of conduct enshrining rigorous ethical and moral obligations. These values are independent from any political, commercial and management interests.

    The core values of the Asia-Pacific Cities Institute of Architecture can be summarized in these following qualities:

    - This quality reflects the wholesome quality passing down from the ancient philosophy of “Zhuangzi”, which not only implies the self-imposed rigorous ethical obligations, but also reflects the perseverance of design professionalism.

    - Represents the passion, and strive for professional excellence.

    - This is the exploration quality not only encouraged free exchange of ideas and methods, but also allows a wide range of social interactions.
